Unveiling of Tesco F&F Home’s new collection, presented by social media stars Ellie Evelyn and Saff Michaelis.
It was a pleasure to produce this F&F Home live stream on behalf of Groovy Gecko, as they partnered with Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH) to deliver this exciting event.
Showcasing the brand's new home collection was the aim. This included kitchen, bedroom and bathroom furniture and accessories in a 90-min long live stream.
Lifestyle influencers Ellie Evelyn and Saff Michaelis brilliantly walked through the areas of the fashionable apartment (a studio-set built entirely of F&F products), highlighting each set of items to the audience in a relaxed and friendly manner.
Behind the scenes…
The show was made to be interactive. The Q&A chat was regularly referred to throughout, creating the feeling that the audience was driving the direction of the content. Combined with engaging graphics and the ‘shop live’ element - showcased products can be purchased directly via the stream - the viewers were constantly engaged, their numbers only growing as the live stream continued.
Using handheld DSLR cameras for ease and spontaneity of movement enhanced this authentic and unscripted feel of the show, all while maintaining the quality and professionalism of the production. The output matched the style of a typical TikTok live, yet stood out with its seamless transitions and flow.
This was even noted by the audience, who left comments in the chat congratulating the production team, in particular the camera operators, for all their hard work.
The result? Over 40,000 views and uber positive engagement in the live chat, which was reflected in product views and click-through rate on the F&F Home pages. The show resonated with a younger audience in particular, helping the brand reach a new consumer base in an innovative and exciting way.
